GivingTuesday 2025

Red Waggin' Rescue needs your support this GivingTuesday! 2025 has been a big year for our little rescue with lots of animal coming into care, translating to lots of vet visits, hundreds of miles of transport driven, and numerous foster and adoptive homes found for the animals we've taken in. Some highlights:

• We rescued five young Australian Shepherds from terrible conditions and got them emergent vet care for the porcupine quill injuries they'd all sustained. We found foster and adoptive homes for each of them and are thrilled to see the progress they've made. 
• We took in many strays and animals that had been dumped, such as Callie and Capri. Those two sweet puppies were found with their legs tied together so they couldn't run after being dumped! We're happy to report that Capri has been adopted into a loving home and that Callie is thriving in the Ridge Dogs training program. Currently, we're working to find a foster home for Sweet Pea, pictured above, who was found as a stray in Eastern Washington. 
• We have provided support to a community member who has been caring for numerous cats and kittens, several of whom are feral. We've found foster homes for several of them and recently hosted an adoption event with our local Mud Bay.

Red Waggin' Rescue is 100% volunteer-run and relies on the generosity of our community to fulfill our mission of helping animals in need.
