Washington Policy Center's Women Who Build Washington event series was created to bring influential changemakers together to exchange ideas, elevate female voices, and champion a free‑market future for our state. Women Who Build Washington grew out of a demand for women-centered spaces that foster meaningful dialogue, mentorship, and connection across industries. What began as a standalone event in Spokane quickly revealed a broader need: women across Washington are seeking opportunities to engage with peers, share experiences, and access networks that support professional and entrepreneurial growth. In response, Washington Policy Center partnered with Gallegher to expand the series and bring the first Women Who Build Washington event to every corner of our state from Yakima, to Bellevue, to Spokane.
Women Who Build Washington serves as a platform to bring together leaders who are driving innovation, advancing opportunity, and shaping the future of Washington state. Guided by Lorrie Baldevia and featuring insights from a dynamic panel of leaders including Dr. Lina Kim, Dentist and Founder & CEO of Floss Boss, Amy Burns, Co-President of Anthony's Restaurants, and Ainsley Close, President of Guardian Security, the event offers attendees insights from leaders who are making a meaningful impact in their community and opening doors for the next generation of female entrepreneurs and small business owners in Washington state.
