This GivingTuesday, you can help Ethiopian youth in Seattle stay connected to their roots and feel proud of who they are. The Ethiopian Community in Seattle (ECS) offers Amharic Language & Culture classes for children ages 7–14, giving them a joyful space to learn Amharic, cook traditional dishes, hear stories, dance, create art, and celebrate Ethiopian heritage together.

Your gift opens the door for a child to belong. A donation of just $150 provides 12 classes for one student, offering them confidence, cultural pride, and a community that understands and supports them. One parent shared, “My child lights up every time they attend class. They feel proud of their heritage and excited to share it with friends.”
