The Power of YouthForce

YouthForce is Boys & Girls Clubs of King County’s unique approach to college and career readiness. YouthForce prepares teens for success in their first jobs and helps create pathways to their chosen career goals.

YouthForce supports Teens’ career and educational development to ensure teens are on track to graduate from high school on time ready for post-secondary education and a 21st-century career. Work-based learning, such as construction trades training, barbering, esthetics, music production, customer service, banking, and discovery programs that explore careers around STEM like aviation, aerospace manufacturing, design fields, and many more...all of which include basic work skills, resume writing, interviewing skills, financial literacy education, college application/financial aid guidance, career exploration, and connection events.

YouthForce unique impact within the community. We place Teens in paid internships with local companies, where they gain valuable work experience, like teamwork and leadership. They also cultivate relationships with mentors, which inspires career and educational growth. 

From their first job to their dream jobs. YouthForce helps teens learn the life skills they need to realize their full potential and be FUTURE READY!
