SPIN provides free, hands-on STEM learning that helps students build confidence, explore careers, and develop the real-world skills that technology cannot replace. By connecting classrooms to mentors, industry, and experiential programs, SPIN ensures students—especially girls, BIPOC youth, and students from low-income communities—see themselves in STEM and have pathways to success. I'm excited to support this organization making a big difference across King County.

About SPIN
SPIN is a catalyst for equity and opportunity. We empower students to explore STEM as a pathway for discovering their own strengths and passions. SPIN nurtures curiosity, ignites passion, and builds confidence to make STEM approachable and accessible.
Our work begins in elementary school with enrichment that exposes students to cutting edge STEM. In some cases, we add a layer of academic intervention. Through collaboration and capacity building, we ensure that out of school time is engaging and enriching. This work continues through middle and high school, where we add elements of mentorship and opportunities for youth leadership.
