Become a friend of Consejo

Join us in supporting children and youth by donating to Consejo. Your generosity helps us continue providing free, trauma-informed services and support programs to underserved communities in King, Pierce, Thurston-Mason, and North Sound counties.

At Consejo, we believe that healing begins with understanding. Our trauma-informed approach is rooted in compassionate care, meeting youth and families where they are. We foster environments that encourage healing, growth, and resilience, addressing both immediate needs and long-term well-being.

We use evidence-based practices, including motivational interviewing and harm-reduction strategies, to create personalized care plans that build on each individual's strengths, skills, and hopes for the future.

Our mission is to provide comprehensive, culturally sensitive care that equips youth with the life skills, confidence, and resources they need to successful transition into adulthood.

Our Commitment to Youth Violence Prevention

We are deeply committed to breaking the cycle of violence among Latinx and BIPOC youth affected by the criminal justice system. Our violence prevention program offers a comprehensive support network, addressing not only behavioral health needs but also job readiness, educational opportunities, and re-entry plans for those transitioning back into the community. Through mentorship, early intervention, and ongoing support, we aim to empower youth to make positive choices, reduce recidivism, and build brighter futures for themselves and their communities.

Empowering Education Through School District Partnerships

At Consejo, we are dedicated to supporting students’ mental health and well-being through our comprehensive school-based services.

By partnering with 34 school districts across seven counties in Washington, we ensure that students receive the care they need right where they are.
