Your donation helps cover the cost to provide:

24-hour support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities(IDD) living in our Adult Family Home
A safe, affordable community housing option
Ensures that staff get paid a livable wage
Options to aging parents who have adult children with IDD

Did You Know:

It cost significantly less to support people in their community than in a state institution. ($1,000 a day less)
Quality of life improves when people are supported and engaged in their community.
Everyone deserves to live, work and flourish in their community especially one of our most vulnerable populations.
There are 300+ people with a developmental disability living in Jefferson County.
State funding covers approximately 65% of the cost it takes to operate an adult family home.
There is need for more adult family homes in the majority of counties throughout the state.
People will disabilities are being forced to live in emergency rooms and institutions still due to lack of community options.
Washington State is ranked near the bottom in the Nation for funding for services for people with IDD
