- Everyone deserves to live, work and flourish in their community especially one of our most vulnerable populations.
- There are 300+ people with a developmental disability living in Jefferson County.
- State funding covers approximately 65% of the cost it takes to operate an adult family home.
- There is need for more adult family homes in the majority of counties throughout the state.
- People will disabilities are being forced to live in emergency rooms and institutions still due to lack of community options.
- Washington State is ranked near the bottom in the Nation for funding for services for people with IDD
