Hi Friends!
Since August of 2024, it's been my honor and joy to serve as the Executive Director of Team Read. Team Read supports elementary and high school students in Seattle, Renton, Tukwila, and Highline school districts.
What I love about this program is that it assists young students to become confident readers, while they grow with the encouragement of their high school reading coaches. At the same time, teens build their leadership capabilities, learn about the field of education, gain valuable work skills, and experience the rewards of contributing to the development of younger students.
It's wonderful to go to our program sites and see the power of these pairs. Please join me in supporting Team Read!
