Help me support Casa Latina!

I’m fundraising for Casa Latina because I believe in their powerful movement to advance the rights and dignity of Latinx day laborers and domestic workers in King County!

Casa Latina is a nonprofit organization that builds power among Latinx immigrant workers through employment opportunities, education, and community organizing. From connecting workers with fair and dignified jobs, to offering ESL and job skills classes, to organizing for stronger labor protections.

I have had the privilege of volunteering as at Casa Latina in their digital literacy course. This class is offered to any members who wish to further their knowledge on digital navigation and internet safety. The course is taught in Spanish, and through collaboration with my supervisors at this organization, I have been able to meaningfully contribute to this learning space. Through my interactions with Casa Latina members, I have witness immense progress and growth in this area, which inspires me tremendously. 

Although this is all new for myself, I have been dedicated to keep working with my Latino community to keep breaking down barriers.
