Every day, people in our community are told they have an eye condition that will result in permanent vision loss. Try to imagine performing your daily activities without your sight. When people have vision loss, they are thrust into a new world. They must learn new skills, find adaptive aids, and navigate the complex medical, psychological and social support networks. Not surprisingly, many people don't know what resources are available or how to connect to them.
We need your help to connect people with low vision, and their caregivers, to the resources they need. With your donation, we can support a resource navigator, host community Vision Fairs, expand our online library of education, and expand our lending library of adaptive devices. Patient needs assessment and resource navigation can cost $50-100 each. More advanced adaptive aids can cost hundreds to even thousands of dollars!
How many people can you support this year?
