Deacon Frank's Operation Nightwatch Fundraiser

Operation Nightwatch goes out in search of those who are disconnected, to show love and foster trust. And, at the end of each day, after other human services offices have closed, we remain open, providing evening and late-night options for food, shelter and more. 

The landscape keeps changing. Emergency overnight beds are hard to find. Not enough of the 24/7 facilities for those who desire that. Meanwhile, in the midst, we continue to befriend, and try to open up doors where we can provide hospitality, and help folks stabilize, and find some peace.

Here's how we help:

Street Chaplaincy -- Nightwatch street ministers and committed volunteers provide food and friendship to people experiencing homeless outside. Street teams provide a wide range of services, including ID replacement, bus tickets home, information and referrals. Socks, blankets, food and water are distributed as well.

Food -- Every night at 8 pm, Nightwatch volunteers prepare and serve a hot, indoor meal for about 150 people.

Shelter -- Nightwatch provides emergency shelter for men and women.

Case management -- Our Case Manager helps our shelter guests find and connect with resources like jobs and housing.

Medical (launching soon!) - Volunteer medical providers will be at our side, providing free basic care and making referrals.

Senior Housing -- Permanent affordable housing is provided for 24 formerly-homeless seniors in a dorm-style setting, with shared kitchens and bathrooms. Our Housing Coordinator helps to keep our seniors safe and housed by providing meals, friendship, and support.

Volunteers -- Nightwatch cannot function without volunteers. Volunteers help with nightly feeding, street outreach, mentoring, office support, baking, and numerous other ways. Check our website.
