GiveBIG to Dance Fremont 2024

Dance Fremont is a non-profit organization and an inclusive dance community that inspires a lifelong love of dance in every student.

We have been providing in-depth education in ballet and modern dance for youth and adults of all ages sharing a passion for dance in our supportive studio environment since 1996.

Dance is where we find our strength, creative voice, deep confidence, and close-knit community. The study of dance instills in us a work ethic that transcends the studio and permeates all areas of life.

At Dance Fremont, we believe that the benefits and magic of high-quality dance training should be accessible to all, inclusive of all backgrounds, bodies and identities. We are proud to expand access to dance instruction, performance, and resources to the wider Puget Sound community through scholarship programs, accessible public performances, subsidized rehearsal space, and community partnerships.

This year, we have set a donation goal of $5,000 for GiveBIG. Your donations will assist in the funding of summer and school-year dance programs, allow us to provide need-based scholarships to families in our community, and help us produce low-cost public performances that foster connections between young dancers in Seattle.

We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our community, and we'd like to share with you the words of three past scholarship recipients:

"I cannot see my daughter’s life without Dance Fremont. Dance Fremont has accepted her with kindness, and they know it is not easy for me to accept their scholarship, but they only give me what is best for my child, a place to develop and contribute to her growth— socially and artistically."

"When class is over, [my daughter] rushes out of the room looking for me so excited.  I mean, the joy I see from her is amazing.  She comes out exclaiming about how ballet was the best and she wants to go back again and again. As her father, it means the world."
