Help support 60 children - food & school supplies

Since 2016, we've been supporting 52 children (up to 60 children this year) in Addis Ababa providing essential school supplies such as pens, uniforms, and books at a cost of $125 per child annually. Due to extreme hardship these families are facing, we've extended our support by covering their food expenses, also at $125 per child per year.

Dr. Mekbib Alemu graciously volunteers to oversee their progress, ensuring their needs are met, and regularly visits them to offer encouragement to stay in school. 

This year, we're thrilled to share the progress and accomplishments of the children we support:

• 2 students are enrolled in universities: one just beginning their journey, while another is in their final year.
• 6 students are attending vocational colleges, advancing through various levels of specialized training.
• 7 young scholars are preparing for their Grade 12 national examinations, a pivotal step toward their future.
• 9 teenagers are engaged in high school (Grades 9-11), working hard to build a strong academic foundation.
• 28 children are thriving in primary school (Grades 1-8), where they're developing essential skills and a love for learning.
