The current challenge lies in the difficulty of accessing and organizing Mezmure (sacred hymns) for various audiences within the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, including Sunday School students. There isn't a centralized platform for finding and sharing these resources, often resulting in reliance on individual collections of PDFs and PowerPoint files, which can be cumbersome to manage and update.

To address this issue, we propose the creation of a comprehensive repository dedicated to Ethiopian Orthodox Mezmure (sacred hymns). This platform would serve as a hub for Sunday schools, congregations, and similar groups, offering features such as:

1. Search Functionality: Users can search by title, singer, content, or category to easily locate specific Mezmure (sacred hymns)

2. Translation Support: The portal can provide English translations alongside the original Amharic text and offer phonetic transcriptions to aid pronunciation for non-Amharic speakers.

3. Media Integration: Audio and video clips of Mezmure (sacred hymns) performances can be included, with links to the original content on platforms like YouTube. This not only enriches the user experience but also helps drive traffic to content creators' channel.

4. User Contribution: Users can contribute new Mezmure (sacred hymns) content or edits, subject to a review and approval process. This fosters community engagement and ensures the repository remains comprehensive and up-to-date.

By implementing these features, we aim to create a centralized and accessible platform that enhances the study and appreciation of Ethiopian Orthodox Mezmure (sacred hymns) across various audiences.

Using the latest technologies and best practices in web development, we plan to develop a depository with functional pages that are responsive and intuitive.
