STEM Path Innovation Network (SPIN) is a local nonprofit, serving students in King and Pierce Counties, dedicated to empowering young women of color from underserved communities to pursue careers in STEM.

I’ve been fortunate to build a fulfilling career in aerospace engineering, and the journey has been incredibly rewarding. But I’m also mindful that many others haven’t had the same access or opportunity to pursue their potential. As a board member of SPIN, I’m committed to creating lasting change—and I invite YOU to be part of it. Your donation will help SPIN continue to inspire, equip, and uplift the next generation of STEM leaders.

Still need a reason to support? Check out these powerful stats!

In 2024 alone, SPIN Girls served 144 students—a 20% increase from the previous year:

  • 99% were students of color
  • 74% said the program increased their interest in STEM
  • 78% said it helped them do better in school

What SPIN provided:

  • 20 Lab Days
  • 20 Field Days
  • A Summer Retreat to Mt. St. Helens
  • A Summer Travel Program to Florida

Most importantly, 84% of SPIN students say they trust their future will turn out well.

Your support helps make this possible. Ready to make an impact?
