GivingTuesday is a global day of generosity that takes place on November 29, 2022. It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past ten years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

Dance Fremont has offered inclusive, quality, in-depth dance training to Seattle dancers of all ages since 1996. Your donation helps us to train, educate, and support the next generation of dancers. We believe that excellent dance training should be available to everyone, inclusive of all backgrounds, bodies, identities, and finances. With the help of your contribution we will continue to fulfill our mission.

During the pandemic, our classes have provided a vital place for people to come together, make connections, learn, and grow - all in an environment where they are respected and appreciated. From our 4 year old dancers, to our 14 year old and 40 year old dancers, we have heard over and over again what an essential role our dance classes have played in supporting people's mental and physical health, and creating joy in hard times. Your donation helps us continue to make a positive difference in people's lives!

 This year's wins include...
- moving into our interim location on Greenwood and 85th
- returning to in-person open classes after the pandemic
- returning to our holiday ballet, The Steadfast Tin Soldier (tickets here! https://2022steadfast.bpt.me/)
- welcoming fabulous local guest artists to teach our advanced students
- hiring a new curriculum director and enriching our board of directors to prepare for the next 25 years!

Your generosity allows us to…

- fund tuition scholarships
- keep open class pay-what-you-can
- buy ballet shoes for students in need
- provide discounted or free studio space for local artists
- bring in more local teachers and choreographers to work with our students
