Kathy's fundraiser for Boys & Girls Clubs!

Hi Friends,

Last fall I celebrated 12 years of working at Boys & Girls Clubs of King County. I'm more proud than ever of the work that we're doing for kids and teens.

Our Clubs were open every day that schools were closed during the pandemic. Our youth continue to navigate unpredictability, which we're addressing at the Clubs with mental wellness support for Club members.  It's not uncommon to hear from Club families: "I don't know what I would do without the Clubs."

I chose to use a photo of one of our "Rainbow Clubs" because many of our Clubs are providing safe spaces for LBGTQ+ youth to meet and support each other.  Last year, we held a county-wide Pride late-night for teens. This support is more critical now than ever.
