There is something quietly transformative about a darkroom. The chemistry, the light, the patience it demands — it's a practice that slows you down in the best possible way, and in recent years it has become one of the most grounding parts of my creative life. PCNW is one of the only places in Seattle where that practice is genuinely accessible — to artists, to beginners, to anyone curious enough to try.

I joined the PCNW board because this organization quietly does something rare: it holds space for photography as both a fine art and a deeply human practice. I've seen what it gives people. I know what it's given me.

This GiveBig season, I'm asking you to be part of sustaining it.

Every donor who contributes to my campaign will be entered into a raffle to win an 8×10 fine art print from my recent black and white film work.

For those who give $250 or more, I will offer a private tour of PCNW's facility and a hands-on darkroom demonstration. Come see the place that keeps me connected to why I picked up a camera in the first place.

My goal is 20 donors by May 5th. I'd be honored if you'd be one of them.
