$10,000 goal
Across Washington, the future of health care has become increasingly uncertain. Recent funding cuts mean that more than 80,000 hardworking individuals and families may lose their insurance coverage in the coming months — a shift that could leave many already struggling to get by without access to the care they desperately need.
At Project Access Northwest, we believe that health care is not a luxury. It’s a basic human right.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 today on Giving Tuesday!
Every $10,000 raised helps 200 uninsured and underinsured individuals in Washington access critical services—from medical, dental, and behavioral health care to food, housing, and premium assistance. Your support makes these connections possible.
Let me tell you about Angela.
Angela* is 48 years old and lives in rural King County. She’s always been independent — working full-time at a local manufacturing plant, caring for her aging parents, and volunteering at her local food bank. But earlier this year, when her company downsized, Angela lost her job — and with it, her health insurance.
For years, she’d been living with severe, chronic pain in her lower back as a result of an auto accident. Without insurance, she couldn’t afford the specialist visits or the imaging her doctor had recommended. The pain became so intense that she struggled to get out of bed, much less apply for new jobs. She told us she felt “invisible” — like she was slipping through the cracks.
Then she was referred to Project Access Northwest.
Within weeks, our care coordination team matched Angela with a volunteer orthopedic specialist. She finally received the diagnostic imaging and treatment plan she needed — at no cost to her. Today, Angela is back on her feet, rebuilding her strength, and even interviewing for new positions.

Your support makes stories like Angela’s possible — and in the coming year, it will matter more than ever.
As people across our state brace to lose their health coverage, the demand for our services is growing rapidly. Your year-end gift ensures that no one is turned away because they can’t afford care. It helps real people — neighbors like Angela — reclaim their health, their independence, and their dignity.
Please, make your tax-deductible donation before December 31 to ensure everyone in our community can access the health care they deserve in 2026 and beyond.
Together, we will strike down barriers to health care — one individual, one appointment, one life at a time.
With gratitude,
