Project Access Northwest will improve community health by connecting those most vulnerable to vital health care services. 

Description

Project Access Northwest is a necessary health care solution for uninsured patients, providers, partners and our community:

• We provide access, reduce health care costs and help patients get healthy

• We handle the administrative details so providers' valuable time is focused on delivering life-saving and life-changing care

• We offer localized solutions for specific patient care challenges

•We are part of the critical safety net in the communities that we serve, which strives to ensure that unmet health needs aren't leaving people vulnerable to long-term issues.

The following program help us strike down barriers to health care:

CARE COORDINATION
Care coordination ensures low-income people have access to care. A qualifying patient who gets care at any of the CHCs or free clinics in our service area can be referred to us when their primary care provider feels they need care beyond what is possible in the primary care setting. We connect these patients to one of more than 1730 volunteer providers in more than 50 specialties.

PRO BONO COUNSELING 

Pro Bono Counseling is a compassionate and generous offering of professional counseling or therapy services specifically designed to benefit individuals facing financial constraints or limited access to mental health support, to ensure that everyone, regardless of their financial situation, has the opportunity to receive the help they deserve.

PREMIUM ASSISTANCE
Many hospitals and hospital systems in this region provide funds to Project Access Northwest so that we can pay the premiums for low-income individuals who are required to purchase insurance on the Exchange, but cannot afford the payments.
