Hello! I am the Mountain School Coordinator for North Cascades Institute. Mountain School is environmental education program that has a mission to connect students to their local ecosystems through experiential learning. I have the amazing job of supporting instructors as they facilitate outdoor experiences for students this year. As a student who thrived best in a different learning environment myself, I love that North Cascades Institute provides these types experiences for local schools.
Having the opportunity to facilitate transformative learning experiences for young people has been life-changing for those of us who work for North Cascades Institute.
Our youth programs create space for kids to learn, discover, make connections, grow, lead, heal, restore, and share experiences that inspire them to action. By supporting the Institute, you are investing in the future to protect our beloved planet.
