As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, Organic Seed Alliance is looking ahead with optimism and determination. 

Organic seed remains crucial for an equitable, abundant, and resilient future of food. Challenges persist, from seed privatization to socioeconomic strains for seed growers and stewards. OSA is dedicated to addressing these challenges, and putting the power of seed into the hands of growers. We will continue to conduct impactful research, provide essential education, and advocate for policies that prioritize diversity, equity, and the public interest in seed systems. 

Please join us in sowing the next 20 years of this vital work. Together, we can ensure an abundant and diverse supply of organic seed, tended in perpetuity by skilled, diverse, and interconnected communities of seed stewards, in Washington and beyond. Your contributions will support our major program areas: 

1) Collaborative research on crop improvement and seed production for organic systems.

2) Education on the agronomic, economic, and socio-political elements of seed work.

3) Advocacy toward policies that support organic agriculture and farmers’ rights to save seed. 

4) Organizing and convening the 2025 Organic Seed Growers Conference.
