Who We Are

Seattle Good Business Network is working to build interconnected and sustainable local economies, collaborating with businesses and communities by connecting them to resources, opportunities, and each other.  We support and work with local businesses because we know that for every dollar spent at a local independent business, on average, three times more income, wealth, and jobs are generated for our local economy than a dollar spent at a national chain—creating a multiplier effect that strengthens our entire region. 

Our work ripples out well beyond Seattle, and includes programs that support local food systems, urban manufacturing, youth workforce development, sustainability and circular economy initiatives, and urban revitalization. We take a holistic approach to our work and our programs are mutually reinforcing, building an economy that works for everyone.
