Mission

WhidbeyHealth Foundation advocates for the exceptional services of the WhidbeyHealth system by building relationships in the community and managing charitable gifts for our hospital and clinics. 

Description

Foundation funding in 2021 supported:

1. Five stretcher beds to increase capacity in the Emergency Department
2. Training equipment for required staff CPR training
3. Construction of a safe room for mental health patients in our Emergency Department
4. Scholarships for 15 nurses to attend a 3-year Nurse Leadership program 
5. Procedural exam table for greater patient comfort during biopsies, port removals, and wound care

Funds raised in 2022 will meet the critical equipment needs of our team and provide employee scholarships to increase our ability to serve. With the community’s help, WhidbeyHealth will continue to innovate, offering critical services, evolving to meet the needs of our diverse community.
