Common Area Maintenance

Common AREA Maintenance is an artist-led nonprofit located in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle. We provide shared space and tools for artists and cultural workers, including art studios, Risograph print shop, woodshop, bookstore, and performance venue—built to support creative work through collective resources and collaboration.

Through year-round workshops, exhibitions, and public gatherings, we foster a vibrant, accessible arts community. At the same time, we’re working toward a bigger vision: developing affordable housing and long-term cultural infrastructure for artists and nonprofit partners, ensuring that creative communities can live, work, and grow in the city they help shape.
