Food bank visits across the Food Lifeline network increased by more than 20% last year, highlighting the growing need in our community. The rising costs of food, housing, and childcare in Western Washington continue to create challenges, especially for low-income families and marginalized communities. As summer approaches, many children lose access to free school meals, making it a difficult time for families already managing tight budgets. But together, we can make a difference! By coming together as a community, we can help ensure that every child and family has the food they need to enjoy a bright and stress-free summer.
Through our support, Food Lifeline can get nutritious food into the communities that need it most, helping to relieve some of the financial burden and stress faced by many families this time of year.
