Every day, Cascade Connections provides essential transportation for people in our Vocational and Residential programs. Our fleet of 40 vehicles helps the individuals we support get to medical appointments, grocery stores, jobs, and activities that connect them to their community.
Many of the people we support use wheelchairs or have other mobility needs. Accessible vehicles, including wheelchair vans, are critical to our customers, but they also come at a significant cost.
While public transportation options like WTA and Paratransit are helpful, they can't meet every need. Having reliable, accessible vehicles ensures that the people we support can live fuller, more independent lives.
This year, we need to purchase four new vehicles, including a wheelchair-accessible van, to continue providing the level of care and access our community depends on.
