ECS Supports Food Lifeline

Emerald City Supporters continue to extended our support past the boys on the pitch and into our community. The current government shut-down has been felt throughout our community. Emerald City Supporters is banding together like we have done before to help support our community and feed those in need by participating in a virtual food drive benefitting Food Lifeline. Food Lifeline, a member of Feeding America, serves Western Washington communities by feeding people today and solving hunger for tomorrow. 

The virtual food drive will allow Food Lifeline to use funds to buy the food that’s most needed in the most cost-effective way possible. If you are financially able to, please join our virtual food drive to help feed members of our community. If you are not able to financially donate, please help share and spread the word. 

If you are not in Western Washington and would like to keep donations in your local community, we encourage you to find a local food bank or food pantry and ask how you can best help. If you are in need of food assistance or additional resources and don’t know where to turn, www.feedingamerica.org is a good resource to start with.
