Erin's Fundraiser 2026

Hi, I’m Erin.
I’ve been involved with Free Rein for three years—as a volunteer, instructor, and now an employee. I grew up riding, and know first hand the connection and healing power horses have.

When I moved back to Spokane, I wanted to give back and stay connected to horses. That search led me to Free Rein. I fell in love instantly—with the mission, the people, and the incredible riders we serve. 

One recent experience that stands out is with a 7-year-old participant who is non-verbal. As soon as he was seated on the horse, his expression changed completely—filling with joy, excitement, and engagement. His smile spoke volumes about the emotional and therapeutic impact equine-assisted services can have. It was a powerful reminder of the unique connection horses offer.

Free Rein changes lives every day. We build confidence, strength, independence, and genuine happiness for children and adults with disabilities. And we want to reach even more people.

My goal is to raise $2,500 to help Free Rein continue this life-changing work.
We are a vital part of the community, and your support directly impacts the number of participants we’re able to serve.
