I am humbled every day by the stories I hear from community members about how opportunities at GRuB have been transformative on their own life journeys. On one level, GRuB's work is to engage our neighbors in building gardens, learning skills, and raising and sharing food together. On a deeper level, when we listen to what matters most to people, we hear stories about how they feel a sense of belonging, community, and personal agency. This comes from meaningful, reciprocal connections with the land, plants, animals, cultural traditions, and each other.
