It has been one of my greatest honors to be a part of the Ke Kukui Foundation 'ohana. I began this journey as a hula mom when my daughter, Ellie, began dancing for Aunty Deva so many years ago. Our lives were filled with much aloha, cultural experiences and spiritual growth. As time passed, our Ke Kukui Foundation and Kaleinani O Ke Kukui 'ohana continued to grow. However, we were very saddened by Aunty Deva's passing. Her oldest son, Kaloku Holt and his family, then stepped in to continue his mother's beautiful legacy. It was at that time when I joined the Ke Kukuki Foundation Board of Directors. This foundation has given me many opportunities to learn, grow and serve this community. I am now on my own hula journey too. I continue to see the positive change Ke Kukui Foundation makes in this community. Please help to preserve this legacy of aloha and cultural growth.
