SEATTLE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL FOUNDATION

Thank you, Seattle Children's—I remember the day I woke up in the hospital, scared and confused about what had just happened after my seizure. A nurse explained to me with a calming voice what had happened, and had a conversation with me making me feel at ease. Throughout my childhood I had multiple visits. Eventually through their excellent support and care, thankfully I had outgrew my seizures! Their kindness had sparked a passion in me to pay it forward to the Seattle Children's community. Even in the smallest ways, I want to give back the kindness that was shown to me.
