We are so excited about the new and diverse programming we can bring to our neighborhood and community. We’ve got a number of new monthly events, a get-together for instrumental improvisation (Pocket Sessions), and a lit workshop in collaboration with local org 12Tales, and a new Improv Comedy night (KH Kerfuffle), as well as our long standing open-mic.
We have brought in a bevy of comedians, dancers, radio enthusiasts, and musicians of every genre and continue to expand our offerings in a multitude of media.
What do all of these great events have in common? They are affordable—incredibly, outlandishly, jaw-droppingly affordable—and they happen right here in our community. Whether you come to see elite classical musicians or new comics standing behind a mic for the first time, our shows are priced fairly for audiences from every walk of life. We cherish the opportunity to give local artists and performers a chance to use our stage, and we are proud to offer a truly performer-friendly compensation model.
Our ask is simple and local: please donate what you can to Kenyon Hall to keep no-cost and low-cost entertainment alive and well in our corner of West Seattle—for the performers and artists, and for our community.
