The Center for Environmental Law & Policy is a statewide 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to protect, preserve, and restore Washington’s waters through education, advocacy, policy reform, and public interest litigation

Washington's waterways suffer from climate-driven drought and mismanagement. Water withdrawals and diversions leave critical salmon habitat and other aquatic resources without the necessary cool, clean water at critical times of the year.

A donation to CELP keeps us at the table, in the hearing rooms, in the legislature, and if necessary, in the courtroom, defending the public interest in clean, flowing water for everyone.

Thanks to a group of generous donors, all donations will be matched up to $7500 on Giving Tuesday and through the end of the year.
