An Opportunity to Make a Difference

It is currently GiveBIG, and I’m using this opportunity to raise funds for A Child’s Notebook. I got involved with this nonprofit seven years ago. ACN works with local communities in Laos to build new schools and dormitories, support after-school programs, and scholarships up to the vocational level. Many students would not be able to attend school without ACN's assistance. Schools often lack secure walls, roofs, and sanitation facilities, which forces many students to drop out before they reach middle school. I travelled with several other board members to Laos in 2023 and I saw all this firsthand. ACN helps make accessible education possible for these children. Every donation made through the event, up to $5,000, will be matched by a generous donor.
