Support WA Libraries

The Washington Library Association is participating in Give BIG for its ongoing #SupportWALibraries campaign. This year, our goal is to raise $5,000 to support and supplement opportunities for library workers who may not have the funding due to employer budget cuts or personal circumstances.

It is vital for library workers to receive ongoing support and education in areas of accessibility, equity, diversity, and inclusion, intellectual freedom, collection development, and more.

Remember, library professionals do so much more than work with books! Your donation will contribute to their:

- Professional Development Send library workers to webinars, workshops, conferences, and other events.

- Scholarships Provide students and professionals the funding to pursue higher and continuing education in the field of librarianship.

- Advocacy Support grassroots legislative and advocacy work that has a direct impact on professionals in academic, school, public, tribal, and special libraries.

- Publications Help library professionals stay connected, find resources, and share their work and research.
