Join the Builder Circle: Help Us Grow Into the Foundation Kirkland Deserves

Once upon a time—just a few years ago—a group of neighbors, leaders, and changemakers dreamed of something big: a community foundation for Kirkland that could connect donors, uplift nonprofits, and spark meaningful change right here at home.

With the support of our Founders Club, that dream took root in 2021. We raised $500,000, hired our first staff, built essential systems, and planted the seeds of a permanent, trusted presence in Kirkland.

But we’re still young. Like any growing organization, we need support to thrive—to become the strong, resilient foundation our community can count on for decades to come.

That’s where the Builder Circle comes in.

This bold campaign is our next step. With your help, we’re investing in the behind-the-scenes essentials that make everything else possible:

✅ Tools to understand giving potential and engage community philanthropists

✅ Financial training for board and staff so we lead with accountability

✅ Governance support to stay aligned with national best practices

✅ Public awareness to help more people know how to connect and contribute

✅ A flexible Boost Fund to launch new initiatives and inspire giving

These aren’t extras. They’re the infrastructure, wisdom, and strategy that allow us to support Kirkland’s nonprofits, engage with generosity, and lead with integrity.

We’re inviting visionary supporters—like you—to join the Builder Circle with a gift of $5,000 or more per year for three years.

If you believe in the power of systems, the importance of stewardship, and the need for sustainable local leadership—we need you.

Because this isn’t just about today’s success stories. It’s about growing up into a foundation that Kirkland can rely on—for generations to come.
