Atlas Assistance Dogs was founded nine years ago with the goal of providing access to service dogs to anyone who would benefit from one.  Today, we not only help people train their own dogs, but also partner with people with disabilities, advocate for the well-being of service dogs, educate future service dog trainers, and raise awareness to promote a more inclusive society. We estimate that it costs us over $15,000 to train and support each of our client teams. To make this life-changing training affordable and accessible, we charge our clients less than 5% ($900) for nine months of private, customized, one-on-one training. And it does not end there: We support our teams for the entirety of their working lives, including supporting handlers through their dog's retirement and training their successor dog(s). We can only do this with the financial support of people like you! Our Mission: We support people with disabilities to train their own service dogs, educate ethical trainers, strengthen the human-canine bond, and promote a more inclusive society. Our Vision: Atlas Assistance Dogs envisions a world in which anyone who could benefit from a service dog can have one, and where individuals with disabilities and their dogs can thrive.
