This year, we are asking for your help to keep us "On the Road" and working towards our mission and our goals. We cannot do this work alone, and we need the support of donations, sponsorships, and partnerships to keep going. Your support can help us make a direct impact within the communities we travel to, helping us connect people to information and resources helping them live happier and better lives.

Our Mission is to connect people to information and resources that they need.

We exist to bring people together. We collaborate with Community Partners who represent a diverse range of organizations that provide resources in the form of Health Insurance, Mental health, Aging and Disability, Education, Veterans, youth and young adults, special needs, transportation, housing and more!! We invite our Community Partners to join us when we travel to different communities and host resource fairs.

Our goal is to be able to "take our show on the road" to communities that don't always get the love and attention that larger metropolitan areas get when it comes to social and human services. We want to be able to host resource fairs in the more rural areas, in smaller towns, and bringing our Community Partners with us to connect people with information and resources.

Not everyone has a smart phone. Not everyone can easily navigate online applications or unfamiliar websites. Having a resource fair in person, in the town you live in, creates a space for you to talk to a real person. Get you questions answered in real time, or get help filling out an application for health insurance, for example, while you're there. Get advice for help with a family member! Not only that, but with many organizations in one room you can talk to several different organizations in a short amount of time without having to try and research them all on your own time.

Our Programs:

"Under the Big Top" Community Resource Fairs

We host Community Resource Fairs in Pierce and Thurston Counties. Even though our resources have been slim, our small team has been able to accomplish a lot with our events! Over the course of 2023 we have:

● Held 8 “Under the Big Top” Community Resource Fairs

● Attended 24 Community Events

● Shared our booth space with our Community Partners at 14 farmers markets

On average we have directly served 15 families per event this year. If we extrapolate that number to include an average of 2.3 household members we can say that 34 individuals were impacted per event, not including the lives that somehow depend on them via work, word of mouth or attendance in school. With 46 total events this year so far, we can estimate that 1,564 individuals have been reached through our events and outreach! The year is not over yet!

PartnerCafe Consortium

This is where it all began! Once a month we host a Consortium for our Community Partners and anyone else who works in human services to join us to discuss what's going on in our communities and to find support and collaboration between us all. We ask 4 questions:

  1. Who are you?
  2. What do you have to offer?
  3. What do you need?
  4. How can we help?

Our strength is in our interdependence. When we come together we can see how to help one another through our own capacity and see where help is needed within our communities. We are often all working towards the same goals, so why not see how we can best work together!
