We’re creating Design in Motion with Cesar Vergara - a program and exhibit featuring both Cesar himself and the Amtrak Cascades Talgo Series VI Bistro Car 7304. Bistro Car 7304 is the sole surviving example of its fleet and an iconic piece of Pacific Northwest rail history. Design in Motion will launch on July 28, 2026. It will lay the conceptual and interpretive groundwork for an expanded permanent exhibit and feature an in-person program with Cesar himself as keynote speaker as well as presentations from Amtrak & railway visionaries. We are working to raise $7,500 to build the foundations for Design in Motion with exhibit fabrication, interpretive panel design, and future public programs.
