Our Students Deserve a Safe and Inspiring Space: Help Us Renew New Horizon School!

For 30 years, New Horizon School in Kent has been a beacon of learning, providing a nurturing environment where students from all backgrounds can grow, discover their potential, and build a strong foundation for the future. We are more than just a school; we are a close-knit community dedicated to fostering academic excellence, creativity, and character development.

However, the very buildings that house this vital work are now in need of significant care. To ensure the safety and well-being of our students and staff, our most pressing need is a complete roof replacement. Years of weathering have taken their toll, and a new roof is essential to protect our learning spaces from the elements, preventing damage and ensuring a comfortable environment conducive to learning.

Looking to the future, we dream of a campus that can offer even more to our students. We are exploring potential campus expansions that could include a much-needed gymnasium, providing space for physical activity, team sports, and school-wide events. Imagine the possibilities – a place for our students to build healthy habits, teamwork skills, and school spirit! We also envision the potential for a small auditorium, a venue for performances, presentations, and community gatherings.

While these exciting additions are part of our long-term vision, our immediate focus for this Give Big is the critical roof replacement. Every dollar donated will be a direct investment in the safety and comfort of our students and the preservation of our school's ability to serve the community for the next 30 years and beyond. We believe in a phased approach, fixing the roofs first to ensure a solid foundation for all future improvements. Eventually, we even hope to explore the possibility of rebuilding our existing structures into one large, modern building and improving our parking area for better accessibility.
