GiveBIG for Science Education

Dear supporters, 

We are contacting you to ask for help raising funds to replace select windows at our facility. The windows in our center are original to the building and are in dire need of replacement. Most of them are not functional, meaning they were not made to open, and the seals have started to fail, which means the double-paned glass is cloudy inside and water damage is starting to warp the frames.

As a non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of donors like you to help us continue providing healthy, safe, and quality learning environments for the 12,000 children, caregivers, and educators who come through our doors every year.  Investing in our facility is essential to ensure that we can continue providing a safe and comfortable environment for the children we serve. The new windows will help improve airflow, circulation, and visibility inside the building. They will also help us reduce energy costs and improve our environmental footprint.

We hope to replace at least 3 of our 20+ windows in strategic places through this campaign: one in the Buildit!Zone, one in the Lab, and one in the Office. Each window costs approximately $900-$1100.
