Friends, family, and givebig community. Help me raise money for SKCCH and be entered to win a Paella Feast!
As Interim Board President, I am honored to serve SKCCH and support bold, smart advocacy for housing, shelter, and services for our neighbors.
I support SKCCH because they unite over 50 community-based organizations on the front lines of responding to the crisis of homelessness and support these orgs with policy and budget advocacy. SKCCH staff are organizers and advocates. They challenge systemic causes of homelessness and fight to secure housing and human services investments at every level of government.
Just this year, SKCCH is working to shut down the King County Jail; increase behavioral health care through the Crisis Care Centers Levy; ensure robust investments through the King County Veterans, Seniors, and Human Services Levy; and renew the Seattle Housing Levy. At the state, SKCCH's focus is on strengthening support for people who are homeless, trying to make ends meet on little or no income, and who are disabled.
Homelessness is solvable -- and SKCCH is advocating for real policy solutions.
