FISH Salmon Aquarium Program

The Friends of Issaquah Salmon Hatchery (FISH) aquarium is the only cold water, full salmon life-cycle tank in the state of Washington. Installed in 2013, the  aquarium is maintained by volunteers & professional staff and welcomes over 100,000 visitors a year to the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery. The aquarium starts both the docent-led and self-guided educational tours & teaches students hand-ons about the salmon life cycle. Over 10,000 school kids come face to face with the salmon. Aquarium costs have soared in recent years & only through volunteer hard work and kind donations from people like you are we able to continue this program.
