Dear friends, families, and supporters of the arts,
We are beyond excited to announce our upcoming production of Anne of Green Gables, TheMusical! This show, beloved by so many, is a powerful story of personal growth, resilience, and the beauty of finding your voice. We believe that theater has the transformative power to help individuals—regardless of ability—discover their confidence, beauty, and voice.
But we need your help to make this vision and production a reality. Through this campaign, we aim to make this production available to all who audition. Your contribution will ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate in our theater community.
At the heart of Anne of Green Gables is a character who, like many of us, struggles with self-doubt and a sense of not fitting in. Anne’s journey to discovering her worth and embracing her unique voice is one that we can all relate to. Through theater, we believe everyone should have the chance to go on a similar journey of self-discovery.
Whether through performing, learning behind-the-scenes skills, or simply attending the show, theater should be a place where everyone can find their confidence and celebrate theirindividuality.
Why We Need Your Support:
The funds we raise will allow us to provide inclusive programming that helps everyone—from performers to audience members—feel welcome and empowered. Your generous donations will help cover the following key areas:
- Rental and Performance Costs: The rights to perform “Anne of Green Gables, the Musical” is $6000 for 8 performances. This cost is non-negotiable and set by Concord Theatricals that owns the performance rights and music tracks.
- Production Costs: Covering the costs of creating an accessible set, costumes, lighting, and sound that ensure all performers and audience members, regardless of ability, can fully engage with the show.
- Scholarships and Free Tickets: Providing free or discounted tickets to those who cannot afford them, and offering scholarships for theater classes to make sure no one is left out.
- Theater and rehearsal space: Currently From Page to Stage Productions does not have a home of their own. We are continually negotiating with churches, schools, cities and non-profits to secure quality spaces to rehearse, build sets and perform. Our hope is to secure Kentwood High Schools Performing Arts Center. The rental cost for Tech week and performances will be approx. $6000.
How You Can Help:
We’ve set a fundraising goal of $8,000 to make this vision come to life. Here’s how you can
help:
- Donate: Your donation, no matter the size, will directly fund our mission to make theater accessible to all. Every dollar helps us offer more opportunities for individuals to find their confidence and their voice.
- Sponsor a Performers Costume: For $50, you can sponsor one performer’s costume in the production, ensuring they have the opportunity to experience the magic of theater.
- Sponsor a script rental: For $25 you can sponsor a performer’s script rental so the magic of a story will come alive.
- Be a new donor: Each donation up to $1000 will be matched by a generous supporter of our mission: Making theater available to all.
- Spread the Word: Help us reach more people by sharing our campaign with friends, family, and on social media. The more we spread the word, the more people we can empower through theater.
Theater is a place where everyone, regardless of ability, can discover their unique voice. Our goal is to ensure that Anne of Green Gables, The Musical becomes an inclusive experience that empowers and uplifts everyone involved—from the performers on stage to the families and community members in the audience.
With your help, we can make this dream come true and ensure that the magic of theater is available to all individuals. Thank you for supporting our mission to make the arts accessible to everyone. Together, we can create an inclusive, empowering, and beautiful experience for all.
With deep gratitude,
Cheri Ayres-Graves
