Monica & Diana's Birthday Fundraising 4 the Chimps

The video above features Queen Negra in the starring role of the latest documentary created by J.B., Co-Director of Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest. We can all relate this time of year, right?!

Monica and Diana have birthday's one week apart. April 23rd for Monica, which is now the official Love a Chimpanzee Day at the sanctuary, and April 30th for Diana. 

Our birthdays coincide with us homo hibernatus emerging from the winters too. Help us celebrate this emerging by making a donation to our favorite sanctuary. Your gifts go directly to the care of Negra and the other fourteen chimpanzees in Cle Elum!

Negra will be turning 51 in just a couple of months, and she's been at the sanctuary for almost sixteen years. That's 16 years of the things she loves, including lettuce, peanuts, blankets, and the space to make her annual pilgrimage.
