Help us create a safe, functional and empowering kitchen for adults with disabilities. 

We're raising funds to remodel the kitchen in one of our four supported living homes and we need your help to make it happen. 

This home is more than just a place to live or work. It is an environment where individuals with developmental and physical disabilities are supported in living full, meaningful, and independent lives. One of the biggest ways we promote meaningful living is by having residents participate in daily life skills. The heart of these skills belong in the kitchen. 

Right now, the kitchen is outdated, inefficient, and not designed with our resident's accessibility needs in mind. Counters are not wheelchair friendly, cabinets are falling apart, storage is limited, and paint is peeling. Simply put: this kitchen isn't working for the residents living there. 

Our Goal: Transform Vision's kitchen into a safe, modern, and fully accessible space where residents can comfortably enjoy meals together and build skills that boost confidence and overall well being. 

Why This Matters: The kitchen is a place where learning and bonding occurs. For adults with disabilities, being a part of the meal preparation process is a huge step toward feeling self sufficient. It's not just about safety or food-it's about confidence and dignity and having some control over one's daily life. 

With a renovated kitchen we can enhance safety, increase accessibility, foster life skills, promote community, and support health.  

Your donation supports ADA compliant cabinetry & countertops, energy-efficient & accessible appliances, durable flooring thats safe & easy to clean, improved electrical work, and storage solutions for adaptive equipment.
