Food prices are high and many don't have high-quality meals. Help HIP nourish our neighbors.

HIP steps in. It’s in their name: “intervention.” Hunger intervention…

All day, every day, they’re figuring out new ways to reach as many people as they can…making 283,052 meals just last year, providing essential sustenance to children, families, elders…

These meals are nutritionally balanced, local, and carefully prepared by staff and volunteers that are beyond passionate about the health and wellness of their community.

And how many meals is 283,052 meals?

Well…that’s three meals a day for 94,354 days. Enough meals to feed one person every day from the day they are born to the age of 86. Or enough meals to feed all of 258 people for an entire year.

That’s a lot of “meat and potatoes” so to speak. It’s no easy feat. The amount of coordination, care, skill and support needed to make this happen is outrageous.

But it gets done. Every year. Like clockwork. And it is because of you.

Without your support there would be no HIP. No meals. No excitement getting home from school to find that your backpack is once again full of the healthy goodies that will allow you to grow into a strong adult. No reminiscing about the good old days with friends at a lunch gathering that feeds your soul. No summer walks to the park to get the rest of the day’s food for your family.

You are the key to it all. Your donation will make a difference, I guarantee it. Even $1 can do great things. I know. I had an empty backpack once…”
