I'm fundraising to for Urban ArtWorks, a Washington-based organization with a mission of engaging youth, artists, and communities in the creation of public art that inspires connection and honors their voices. 

Since 1995, Urban ArtWorks has collaborated with thousands of young people and hundreds of artists to bring art to public spaces throughout the PNW.  Through paid youth arts employment programs, K-12 school partnerships, and commissioned and community murals, Urban ArtWorks is breaking barriers - one wall at a time! In 2024, Urban ArtWorks engaged 2,650 youth, artists, and community members through the creation of 102 public artworks in 15 Seattle neighborhoods and 12 additional communities! mmunities who face barriers to arts education and employment opportunities. 

Of the  total youth apprentices in Urban ArtWorks 2024 programs: 73% of youth apprentices were from BIPOC communities, 52% were LGBTQIA+, and 53% were low-income.
