I've danced with with more babies, caregivers, children, and teens than I can count in the 23 years I've taught at the Creative Dance Center. The relationships I've developed with families and students have enriched my life greatly. To provide a movement and music filled environment where caregivers and children bond through the magic of creative dance - that is pure joy.
I hope you will donate to my fundraiser. Your gift allows CDC to keep building on our 40+ year foundation of inclusive dance for all, choreography and powerful performances by youth, transformative teacher training, and meaningful relationships built through dance.
This year we have expanded our community engagement bringing dance to Northgate Elementary students, children living in permanent, supportive housing with Mercy Housing NW, and to young children at four Mary’s Place locations as part of their programming in Kids Clubs, which aims to reduce trauma and provide a safe place for children.
When you give, good things happen in our studio, our schools, and our community. And because we train teachers from near and far - good things happen in communities all over the world! Thank you for spreading goodness and for your generosity.
